1991-1994 - Danny Johnson attended Freedom High School and was multisport athlete.
1993 - Starting forward state ranked Freedom soccer team.
1994 - Averaged 21ppg in route to ending the season as Top 25 USA Today nationally ranked basketball team. AP All-State Selection. He led Freedom High School to the North Carolina 4A Basketball State Champions. Danny was named North Carolina’s first ever unanimous MVP selection while breaking the championship scoring record with 37 pts. Played for current Hall of Fame coach Terry Rogers.
1994 - Signed with the Clemson Tigers basketball team under Rick Barnes.
1995-1996 - Reserve player on a NCAA tournament team earning ACC, ACC
tournament and NCAA Player of the Game selection from Television Media.
1997-1998 - After a transfer to the College of Charleston led the team to a 24-6 record and a NCAA tournament selection. Earned third-team All-TAAC honors.
1998-1999 - Starter for 28-3 NCAA tournament selection team. Earned first-team All-Southern Conference honors, voted team Co-MVP. Team finished the season ranked 16th in country.
1999-2010 - Drafted in 2nd round of USBL by the Connecticut Skyhawks. Averaged 17ppg and lost in the Championship game. Was named league Rookie of the Year. Signed as free agent with Saint Louis Swarm of the International Basketball League and was second in the league in scoring with 23ppg. Won regular season and playoffs championships while earning that league’s Rookie of the Year. Played with Indiana Pacers NBA summer league under coach Isaiah Thomas. Signed with French Division 1A team, Cholet, averaging 15ppg. Returned to Saint Louis Swarm under Bernie Bickerstaff and won the IBL/CBA championship in back-to-back seasons. Earned league MVP. Played with Milwaukee Bucks NBA Summer League for Coach Terry Stotts and finished 2nd on team with 16ppg behind Michael Redd. Signed with Greek Division 1A team, Ionikos, lead team with 15ppg. Signed with NBA D League team, Fayetteville Patriots, before signing With Dakota Wizards in the CBA and winning CBA Championship while averaging 17ppg. Signed with New York Knicks before signing back in CBA with Boise Stampede and then Rockford Lightning while averaging 18 and 19ppg before losing in championship game. Signed with Turkish Division 1A team, Galatasaray, and transferred to a Lebanese Division 1A team, Blue Stars. Was named Asia-Baskets Newcomer of the Year. Played with Charlotte Bobcats in NBA Summer League, and led them to an undefeated summer league averaging 11ppg and 6apg. Signed with Egyptian Division 1A team, Al Ittihad, and led team in scoring and assists along with winning regular season and playoff championship titles. Signed with Saudi Arabian Division 1A team, Al Ittihad, and led team in scoring and assists while winning regular season and playoff championships.

June 2019 received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Cougar Club (Booster Club for College of Charleston). Grandson of South Carolina Athletics Hall of Fame and NCAA Hall of Fame inductee Bob “The Voice” Fulton.
